Best, a seasoned professional with 30 years of experience in the financial sector, will be re-joining the bank from his current role as Senior Infrastructure and Development Advisor to the Prime Minister of Barbados. Best has a distinguished track record of delivering resilient infrastructure solutions and driving sustainable development across the Caribbean. In a prior stint with the CDB Best headed Capital and Technical Assistance Interventions and played a pivotal role in expanding the bank’s lending and grant portfolios. A visionary and strategic thinker, known for his collaborative approach, Best is deeply committed to advancing policies that foster sustainability, economic growth, and the region’s transformational development needs.

With his outstanding leadership skills and dedication to the Caribbean’s progress, Best is exceptionally well-suited to serve as President of the CDB.
