Guidelines For Donations To Affected Caribbean Countries

The Department of Emergency Management will open a warehouse at Pelican House, Building 14, Harbour Industrial Park, St. Michael, from tomorrow, Wednesday, November 5, to support the relief efforts to affected Caribbean states, including Jamaica, Cuba and Haiti, following the passage of Hurricane Melissa last month.

The warehouse will operate tomorrow from 10:00 a.m. The other opening hours will be Mondays to Fridays, between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., and on Saturdays, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Donations should include non-perishable items and toiletries and have an expiry date of no less than six months. No clothing will be accepted.
